What is Shake the Dust?

It’s not your typical workout.
It’s a movement practice - one that goes beyond fitness or form.

Rooted in the wisdom of nondual Tantra, especially the Trika Shaivism lineage, this practice is designed to awaken consciousness through the body.

It helps strengthen the nervous system, release old patterns, and remind us what it feels like to be fully alive.

In Shake the Dust, the body isn’t just exercised - it’s honoured.
It’s seen as a sacred instrument for transformation.

Each session moves through dynamic waves - shaking, jumping, resting, dancing, and intuitive flow - with elements of yoga, Pilates, somatics, and strength training woven throughout.

Every class is guided by a poetic theme and an inspiring playlist, creating space for both personal exploration and collective energy.

From the lens of Tantrik philosophy, movement is so much more than physical.
It’s a way to cultivate presence, dissolve limitations, and access the innate aliveness that’s always within us.

Shake the Dust invites you to not get stuck where it feels good - or bad.
To reclaim your body as a living, breathing instrument of awareness.
And to bring that awakening into everyday li
fe.

Book

Shake the Dust is…

  • A movement practice set to a banging soundscape.

  • A mix of freedom, dance, and containers like shaking, tapping, jumping jacks.

  • A counter-narrative to polished, performative movement.

  • A space to let your body be messy, chaotic, real.

  • A way to build nervous system resilience through practice.

  • Not about looking good. Not about holding it together. About being alive.

This is for you if…

  • You crave a practice that’s raw, messy, alive.

  • You want movement that’s more than “just feeling good.”

  • You’re ready to meet the chaos, the collapse, the injustice - in your body.

  • You want resilience, not perfection.

  • You’re open to shaking, tapping, sweating, dancing, releasing.

  • You know sometimes healing sounds like a full-bodied fuuuuuck!
