She Moves with the Seasons
Seasonal, body-led spaces for women who are tired of overriding themselves in a world that asks for constant growth, consistency, and availability.
This work begins in the body
Not as self-improvement, but as a remembering.
Why this work
We live inside systems that reward speed, productivity, and linear progress. Many of us have learned to push through, ignore signals, and call that strength.
But bodies don’t work that way.
They move in cycles. They respond to rhythm, rest, contact, and safety. When we ignore this -when we live as if every season is spring - we pay for it with burnout, disconnection, anxiety, and a quiet sense of being out of step with ourselves.
She Moves with the Seasons offers a counter‑narrative: one that honours contraction as much as expansion, rest as much as growth, and truth as much as effort.
What this work offers
Through somatic movement, nervous‑system‑aware practice, seasonal reflection, and honest conversation, these spaces support women to:
stop overriding their bodies
regulate rather than push
move with cycles instead of against them
be witnessed without needing to perform
This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about creating the conditions where your body can respond intelligently again.
The Pathways
Seasonal Courses (in‑person)
4 x 6 week in‑person courses that follow the seasons - Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
These series offer a steady rhythm of movement, reflection, and community, allowing you to explore what each season asks of the body and nervous system.
Ideal if you want to explore embodied movement, locally, and with continuity - without committing to a full year.
The Online Year-Long Container
A year-long exploration of movement, rest, and cyclical living
Alongside two in-person year-long circles, She Moves with the Seasons is now opening as an online year-long container, beginning in March.
This pathway is for those who feel drawn to committing to a year of cyclical practice, but who may not be local - or who want the steadiness of an online rhythm woven into their lives.
We meet once a month, gathering live online to move, reflect, and connect with the current season. Sessions are held in a way that honours different capacities and nervous systems, with recordings available for those who need flexibility.
The online space is intentionally crafted to feel held, relational, and alive - not just something you “log into”, but a place to arrive as you are.
Seasonal Gatherings
Single‑day or half‑day gatherings marking seasonal thresholds.
These are accessible entry points: spaces to pause, reset your rhythm, and reconnect with yourself in community - without needing to commit long‑term.
Upcoming:
Sun 1 Feb - Embodied Movement & Sound Bath
Sun 22 March - Embodied Movement & Sauna
Seasonal Immersions &Weekend Courses
Longer‑form spaces exploring how to live, move, and grow seasonally.
These weekend immersions weave embodied movement, seasonal philosophy, nervous system education, and practical reflection on how cyclical living can reshape work, creativity, and care.
This pathway is currently unfolding.
About Sam
My work is shaped by years as a Sociology and Politics teacher and as an organic vegetable grower - learning, in different ways, how systems shape bodies, and how nature resists linear logic.
I later trained as a yoga teacher, and while that gave me a foundation, over time it felt too tidy for the lives we were actually living. So I re-trained to guide movement through a somatic lens - movement guided by sensation, rather than form or performance.
Out of my own non-linear life, She Moves with the Seasons emerged - a space that honours cycles over progress, and rhythm over rules.
This work didn’t emerge from trends. It emerged from necessity - during times of collective disruption, grief, and change - and continues as a response to the world we’re living in now.
